Soap and Glory Flake away body scrub AND Righteous body butter lotion.

Your over all body needs as much attention as your face. Having the satisfaction that you are perfectly aesthetic from head to toe, gives you self-reliance and fortitude. You know a bold red lipstick is not going to help you in a party if the dry patch on your back is itching ;). In this post I will be reviewing few products which I have purchased recently, and trust me they are heavenly.

Soap n glory Flake away body scrub

The product comes in a pink tub. When I opened the lid, a burst of yummy candy scent welcomed me. The interesting thing about this scrub is that unlike other body scrubs (dry & bristly) Soap and Glory's Flake away is more of a finely grinned type. When I touched the product I could feel the sugar particles and sea salt which are also quite prominent for naked eye too.

 It polishes and swab away dryness with peach seeds powder, sea salt and sugar. While concurrently moisturizing with Shea butter and Sweet almond oil.

Ingredients and how to use it?

It has the signature fragnance of peach, almond and strawberry, as other products of Soap and Glory. Flake Away has fine granules which are perfect for the exfoliating purpose, After rubbing for a few seconds on damp skin, the granules melt and become lather.

My Experiance:

After using if few times, I think it is perfect for gentle exfoliation, specially on dry spots like knees or elbows. Although the tag line says "It may be fine if her friends are flaky, but a lady's legs should never be". True that,but as the formula is mild, I have used it on my body too. My skin is not flaky normally but I do feel extra softness and smoothness after using it, Also the mild fragnance that stays for 2 to 3 hours after rinsing is also a positive feature for me.

Pros

1- Formula is suitable for every skin type, especially sensitive skin
2- Can be used on whole body
3- Can be easily purchased online.

Cons

1- Jar packaging may not be convenient for some people
2- Strong fragrance

The Righteous Body Lotion:

The other Soap and Glory product I am reviewing in this post is The Righteous Body Butter. We all know how much important it is to keep yourself moisturized through out the year, to avoid any break outs or dryness, The Righteous Body Butter Lotion definitely fulfilled this purpose for me.

I have the 500 ml bottle which has a handy pump top and the packaging is in the typical pastel colors, with the vintage style photo. The nossel comes with a lock for protecting the product from wastage when not in use, which makes it travel friendly even though its a huge bottle, but still it can be carried. The Righteous body butter lotion is lighter version of Righteous body butter, as the name suggests it is lotion whereas body butter is in creamy texture, more suitable for winters. It contains Shea and Cocoa Seed Butters to provide and trap in moisture, Almond and Rosehip Seed Oil to allow dry skin to stretch and flex, Aloe Vera for soothing and hydrating. Vitamin E as an antioxidant and Smoothboost-24H which smooths rough skin using seaweed. (It is like a magic in a bottle).

The lotion has a pale cream color and has the trademark Pink Soap and Glory Scent, sweet and fruity of bergamot, peach, vanilla and sandalwood.

My Experience:

Righteous Body Butter Lotion is a lighter formula and its one of the most moisturizing lotions I have used, It sinks in quickly without feeling greasy, tacky or sticky. I personally liked its smell as I really love the sweet scent, also I did not find it overpowering. It is same as in the Righteous Butter, but toned down and a perfect lighter formula for summers. The moisturizing effect lasts for whole day, on me.

Pros:

1- Beautiful Scent
2- Easy to find in market as many pages are selling it online
3- Nossel comes with a lock

Cons:

1- Some people may find the smell too strong
2- A little pricey.

Righteous butter lotion retails for $12 for which you get a 500ml bottle.
